`vmselect` performs the following tasks:

|
|
|
- Splits incoming selects to tasks for `vmstorage` nodes and issues these tasks
|
|
to all the `vmstorage` nodes in the cluster.
|
|
|
|
- Merges responses from all the `vmstorage` nodes and returns a single response.
|
